Business and markets
Business information, sector and market analysis, company valuation, financing and succession. The core of the list.
EUPHORIX publishes business information as well as professional and general non-fiction. Its core lies in economic, legal and technical subjects — alongside which we publish psychology, travel writing and reportage, and cookery books. What holds the series together is not the subject but the standard: whoever writes has mastered the matter itself.
The list follows no market niche but the fields in which our authors are at home. The economic and the professional-technical parts form the core; the remaining series rank equally and are not intended as an afterthought.
Business information, sector and market analysis, company valuation, financing and succession. The core of the list.
Leadership, organisational structure and process, management systems, digitalisation — and the question of why undertakings fail that were sound on paper.
Occupational safety, fire safety, electrical engineering and inspection, data protection and information security. Our greatest depth of expertise — with complete references down to the individual provision.
Work and organisational psychology, strain and stress, communication, conflict and decision-making. Without the tone of the self-help shelf.
Travel writing and reportage by people who stayed longer than a week. Regional knowledge, encounter and observation rather than guidebooks.
Cookery books with origins: regional cuisines, craft, ingredients and the stories behind them. Recipes that were cooked, not merely photographed.
All titles are published electronically and are available for download immediately upon purchase.
Publications are supplied electronically only. There are no shipping costs and no waiting time.
Select a title and initiate the purchase. Business customers enter their VAT identification number; the invoice is then issued without tax.
Payment processing and invoicing are handled by a fulfilment partner. You receive the invoice immediately upon purchase.
Access to the file is provided at once. The publication carries no copy protection and may be used within your organisation.
For digital content the right of withdrawal lapses if, before downloading, you expressly consent to performance beginning immediately and at the same time confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained separately during the ordering process. Without it, performance does not begin.
Whether an economist, a safety engineer, a psychologist, a cook, or someone who has lived five years in a country — what matters is that you understand the matter. Writing can be learned; expertise cannot, not in three weeks.
In the series on business, management, and law and engineering we expect complete references: section, subsection, number; technical rules with their edition; case law with file numbers. Anything unverified is marked as such.
In psychology, travel and cookery what counts is your own experience: what you have seen, cooked, accompanied or researched yourself. Provenance and sources remain traceable; the tone need not be academic.
Editorial work, specialist review, typesetting and publication. Remuneration takes the form of a share in proceeds; the details are set out in the author agreement.
A proposal, not a manuscript. Send us two pages: subject, readership, outline, and the gap you intend to close. That is enough for an initial response.
The publishing house grew out of the group’s expert and advisory work and has since opened up its list. Today it publishes business information and general non-fiction as well as professional literature.
Responsibility for the series on law, occupational safety and engineering rests with Michael Lorenz, expert for occupational safety (BDSF reg. no. 8261047), for fire safety (8261048) and for electrical installations and equipment (8261049); occupational safety specialist under section 7 ASiG in Germany, under section 73 ASchG in Austria and under Article 11c VUV together with EKAS guideline 6508 in Switzerland. For the remaining series, responsibility rests with the respective authors.
For proposals, enquiries about titles and to join our announcement list, please write to us. There is no contact form and no telephone number.
The proprietor holds no separate VAT number. For advisory services to businesses established in Germany the tax liability passes to the recipient under the reverse charge procedure. Electronic publications supplied to consumers are sold through a fulfilment partner who supplies them in its own name and accounts for the value added tax of the respective country of destination; the contract of sale is concluded with that partner. Its particulars are shown during the ordering process.
Where a title is subject to statutory price maintenance, the end price set by the publisher applies. Discounts to end customers are not granted in such cases.
The publisher’s publications are prepared with the greatest care. They reflect the position at the time of publication and do not replace case-by-case examination, risk assessment or legal advice. The wording of the provisions and rules in force at any given time is authoritative. Responsibility for the content of external sites lies solely with their operators.
Publications are protected by copyright. Publications acquired may be used within the acquiring organisation and reproduced for internal purposes. Passing them to third parties, publishing them on the internet and using them in paid training delivered by third parties require the publisher’s written consent.
The publisher is neither willing nor obliged to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings.
